What does Flow Capital offer?
Flow Capital offers venture debt and revenue based financing in cheques of $2 million to $10 million or more. The loan is senior and secured but non amortizing over two to four years, so you pay interest and repay the principal at the end rather than grinding it down monthly. Flow takes 1% to 3% warrant coverage, minimal covenants and no board seat, and there is no personal guarantee. Its website is flowcap.com. It publishes more than $179 million deployed across 68 plus companies, as a company figure.
Who does Flow Capital fund, and who do they decline?
Flow funds revenue generating technology companies, with B2B SaaS as the core, in the US, Canada and the UK. Its published fit is revenue above $3 million, and it is sector agnostic beyond a growth and technology focus. Real estate and resource extraction are excluded.
Beyond those exclusions it does not publish decline criteria. Pre revenue companies, businesses under $3 million and those needing under $2 million are outside the stated range; Lighter Capital reaches smaller SaaS companies. Non technology businesses should use the general loan type pages.
What does it typically cost and how fast is it?
Flow does not publish an interest rate or fees; the only published pricing element is the 1% to 3% warrant coverage. Venture debt is usually priced as an interest rate in the low to mid teens plus closing fees, with warrants as the equity kicker. Our venture debt page gives the typical range and our term sheet guide explains warrants and covenants. Funding speed is not published; expect weeks of diligence.

Prepare three years of financial statements, a forecast, monthly recurring revenue and churn data, a cap table and funding history, bank statements, the investor deck and corporate documents. Our document checklist covers the baseline items; the SaaS metrics and cap table are the extras venture lenders want.
How does Flow Capital compare with similar lenders?
Coho Growth lends $1 million to $10 million of fixed term growth debt to vertical B2B SaaS companies with $2 million to $20 million in revenue, from a private fund. Lighter Capital offers revenue based financing up to $10 million, repaid as a share of revenue to a 1.3x to 1.5x cap, for smaller SaaS startups. Flow is the only public company of the three and the only one that publishes warrant coverage and a non amortizing structure.
