Can you get a business loan in 24 to 72 hours?
Yes, if the business has been open at least six months, deposits $10,000 a month or more, and the last three months of statements have no more than a few negative days. Online lenders decide in hours from bank data and fund by the next business day. Amounts are capped at roughly one month of revenue, sometimes two. If you need more than that, or you need it at bank pricing, fast is not an option: the cheaper products take two weeks to three months. How long it takes gives the timeline for every product.
The honest warning: fast money is easy to get and easy to regret, and daily or weekly payments start almost immediately.
Which products will consider you, ranked by fit
Ranked by how fast they fund and how much they cost:
- Invoice financing, if you invoice other businesses: funds in one to three days and is usually the cheapest fast product, because the invoice is the security.
- An online line of credit: one to three days to open, then draws land the same day. The best fast product to have in place before you need it.
- Short term loans: one to three days, fixed payment, 6 to 24 month terms.
- Merchant cash advances: the fastest and the most expensive, often same day for card heavy businesses.
- Equipment financing: two to seven days with a vendor quote, worth the extra days for the lower rate.
Which products will decline you, so you stop wasting applications
No lender declines you for needing money quickly, but several cannot deliver. Bank term loans and lines take two to eight weeks. SBA 7(a) takes 30 to 90 days and SBA 504 longer. Commercial real estate loans need an appraisal and take 45 to 90 days. Asset based lending needs a field exam and takes three to six weeks.
Also skip fast lenders if you have an open advance with daily payments: most will decline or offer a second position at a worse price, and stacking is the fastest route to a cash crisis. Online lenders versus banks shows the full speed and cost trade.

Apply nowHow to improve your odds in 30, 90 and 180 days
In 30 days, which is really today: have your last three to six months of bank statements downloaded, your driver license, a voided check and your EIN ready. Connect your bank account to the application if offered, since read only access cuts a day of verification. Apply in the morning so underwriting and funding fit in one business day.
In 90 days: open an online line of credit while you do not need it. Approved lines fund draws the same day, which turns a three day scramble into a click.
In 180 days: with six clean months, apply for a bank line, which takes weeks to set up but funds instantly after that. The fastest money is a line you already have. See loan versus line of credit.
What will it cost compared with a standard borrower?
A standard borrower with time pays 8% to 15% APR at a bank. The same borrower in a hurry pays 15% to 60% APR on a short term loan or online line, and factor rates of 1.15 to 1.45 on an advance, which can mean 50% to 150% APR or more depending on how quickly it is repaid. Invoice financing costs 1% to 3% per 30 days, so a $50,000 invoice paid in 45 days costs roughly $750 to $2,250. Origination fees of 1% to 5% are common and come off the top.
The multiple matters less than the total dollars. If $30,000 for three months costs $3,000 and saves a $15,000 contract or a repossession, it is worth it. If it covers a loss that will repeat next month, it is not. Run the numbers in the MCA true cost calculator before you sign.
