Key facts
- What you pay
- Nothing, at any stage
- Who pays us
- The lender, only when a loan funds
- What we never do
- Charge upfront fees, sell your application as a lead, or steer you for a bigger payout
Who pays us?
The lender pays us, and only when your loan actually funds. If you apply and do not take a loan, nobody pays anything. If you get three offers and decline all three, nobody pays anything. This is the same way a business loan broker has always been paid, and it is why the service can be free to the business.
The payment is a fee from the lender to us, agreed in advance, and it is not added to your loan as a separate charge. The rate and fees on your offer come from the lender's own pricing, which you can check against our rates guide before you accept anything.
Why do we have no reason to steer you?
Because we are paid the same whichever lender you choose. Our arrangement with lenders is set so that a term loan from one bank pays us the same as a term loan from another, and the match you see is driven by fit, not by which lender pays more. If a product is a poor fit for your business, our pages and our matching say so, even when that costs us a funded loan.
Many loan sites work the other way: when a site earns more from one lender, you see that lender first. We would rather you take the right loan and come back next time. Owners who get burned by a bad match do not return.
What fees do we never charge?
We never charge an application fee, an upfront fee, a processing fee, a document fee, a matching fee or a success fee to the business. There is nothing to pay to see your offers and nothing to pay when you accept one.
If anyone asks you to pay a fee in our name, by wire, card, gift card or app, they are not us. Scammers pose as brokers and lenders and ask for a fee to release funds. A real lender deducts any origination fee at funding; nobody legitimate asks you to send money first. Our guide to business loan scams lists the warning signs.

Apply nowHow does this compare with lead selling sites?
Many loan comparison sites make money by selling your information. You fill in a short form, and your name, phone number and loan request are sold to several lenders and brokers, often to the highest bidders. Then the calls start from companies you never chose.
We do not sell your application as a lead. It goes to the lenders you are matched with, only after you approve the submission, and lenders see it inside the platform rather than buying your contact details. Our security page covers how your data is handled, and broker versus direct lender explains where a site like ours sits in the market.
How are brokers on Levr paid?
BusinessLoanBroker.ai runs on Levr, the platform independent business loan brokers use to place deals. When a broker places a loan through Levr, the lender pays the broker a commission, and the broker keeps all of it. We are paid by lenders for the platform, not by taking a cut of the broker's commission.
If you work with a broker directly, our guide on how brokers get paid explains typical commission structures, what is normal, and when a broker's fee should and should not come out of your pocket.
What does this mean for you?
You can apply with no cost and no obligation, compare real offers, and walk away if none of them fit. The matching you see is not tilted by who pays us more. And you can let your AI assistant run the application through our MCP server on the same terms: free, no fees, no lead selling. For what happens once you submit, read what happens after you submit.
