What does Loop offer?
Loop offers banking first and credit second. The platform provides multi currency accounts, corporate cards, foreign exchange and payments for Canadian companies that buy or sell abroad, with account and card services delivered through partner banks. On the credit side it offers purchase order and inventory financing, invoice financing, and unsecured cards and credit lines, with limits up to $1 million scaled to your monthly sales. Its website is bankonloop.com. It publishes more than $100 million deployed to over 3,000 businesses, as a company figure.
Who does Loop fund, and who do they decline?
Loop funds Canadian businesses that trade internationally: ecommerce and Amazon sellers, retail brands and manufacturers with suppliers or customers in the US, UK or EU. Credit is sized to monthly sales, so a business with meaningful recurring revenue through the platform gets the larger limits.
It does not publish minimums or decline criteria. The profile notes that lending became a secondary product after Loop shifted from peer to peer lending to banking in 2022, so a business that only wants a loan and no banking relationship may be better served by FundThrough or 8fig. Non Canadian businesses are not eligible.
What does it typically cost and how fast is it?
Loop publishes its starting prices: monthly interest from 1.2% on invoice financing and from 1.5% on purchase order financing, charged on what you draw. Over a 60 day cycle that is roughly 2.4% to 3% of the amount, which sits in the normal range for trade financing; compare with our invoice financing page. Other fees and funding speed are not published. Banking fees are separate from financing costs, so ask for both.

Opening a Loop account means standard business banking verification: incorporation documents, owner ID and ownership details, plus bank statements. For credit, connect your sales platforms and provide invoices or purchase orders and supplier details. Our document checklist covers the financing side.
How does Loop compare with similar lenders?
8fig funds ecommerce inventory in stages tied to a supply chain plan for US and Canadian sellers above $100,000 a year, without banking. FundThrough factors B2B invoices for US and Canadian businesses at a published 1.9% to 2.9% per 30 days. Loop is the only one of the three that bundles multi currency banking, cards and foreign exchange with the credit, which is the reason to choose it.
